I've been wanting one of these for decades, just never could justify it to myself.
Then I heard about this group. I've been involved in CAS for almost a decade and finding out about this was the last straw. I already had the pistol (Colt Gov. MKIV S70, made in 1978) covered. I'd post a shot of it, but I cannot find the ones I though I had. I'll post a few when I get a chance to take a few. As it turns out, this pistol would also qualify. ![]() It's a Walther PP in .32 ACP. Cheers Vernon

That looks great. Is that the original stock?
Are you involved in the AZSA? There is a group in the Renton area, scroll to the bottom of the link. I'm working on getting a group started here in Indiana.

I finally had a chance to get to the range today. My time was limited, I only put 100 rounds through the 1927a1. Functioning was flawless, not one failure of any type. The rifle was shooting 10 inches low at 25 yards using the basic sight with the ladder folded down. Using the ladder sight at 100 yards, I was able to pick off pieces of
![]() I did not try the drum, I did not take the time to load it. I expect to get to the range again this weekend and should have a good bit more time. Vernon

Nice! As an aside, my buddy sent his out to Kahr (new owners of Thompson)to have some work done on his, and they butchered it. The front sight roll pin was enlarged, and there were burrs around the hole which weren't even re-blued. The rear sight originally had period correct screws and they were replaced with new domed hex head screws. His stock was ill-fitting and loose. It looked as if a ham & egger did the work. Needless to say, he will be forwarding a nastygram voicing his displeasure!
