I have noticed each time that I break my PM-1S down for a thorough cleaning that the plunger tube is slightly loose. Is this the way it should be?
It never seems to get looser, it just wiggles a very small amount. Looks like it is staked from the inside of the frame, so my guess is it would be a gunsmith repair if needed. My only 1911, so I don't have any knowledge about this. |

Thanks, it has not gotten any worse, and it's pretty minor. I'll keep an eye on it.
