WOW was that taken TOTALLY out of context. He was not espousing that point of view but actually opposing it.
His remarks were prefaced by this: "Those ideals have often been threatened, by an older more traditional view of power. This alternative vision argues that ..." Now look what you have done - made me defend Obama  Watch the entire speech here:

It was taken out of context, and I'm happy you caught it so quickly. This is making the rounds on facebook, and NOBODY is reading the speech. And it is not being posted by right wing groups...individuals who are stating that if he even use those words, at all, it is what is in his heart. Just one more example of how today's technology can alter thinking if a person doesn't do their own research.
I don't like Obama and his far left approach, but I do think the whole speech should be read.
