Another little program I wrote one evening when I was bored.
This one computes the amount and direction of movement required for iron sights to hit point of aim. Math works out for both pistols and rifles. Overall screen shot without any entered data. ![]() Sight correction calculation entered for a AK-47. Type of sight selected, parameters entered and calculate button pressed. ![]() Same calculation, but allowing for an elevation adjustable rear sight. ![]() Program runs on Windows 7, 8, and 10. Should work on Windows XP provided you have the latest updates. If there is enough interest/perceived value, I might make a version for the Android phones. Free to use and share. Does NOT need an internet connection to work. Feedback is always welcomed.
