You can play too, if you know the secret handshake

Actually, Da and I have been doing a bit of backchannel PMs about this. We agreed to go public to see if there are any other hams, those interested or just anyone with questions. I know this isn't an amateur radio forum so, if this does not belong here, feel free to delete the whole thing, Alex.

As I was mentioned while chatting with Da - my current iteration of ham radio interest started as part of my doomsday planning. See, I can make it fit with firearms!

Loser is correct, looser means it's not a tight fit and fits loosely

but no worries, . Hams are well known to be losers and don't fit well, so we are loose too!

My wife has for years had a name for ham radio gatherings. She went once, much to her regret, many decades ago. They are now collectively known as "Nerdfests"

Anyway - anybody want to join the nerd pack?

Do a simple search on "Q Codes" in google and you too can play the game like a masternerd.

I have a confession to make; KC8IBD. My old callsign. I was an advanced technician holder for ten years. My Father was the highest level, his call was N8LVD.
