I have an Idea! Instead of Prison or Jail. Make them work for Liberal Congressman and Senators , In their Homes! For at least 1-5 years!
I Propose the 1st Liberal Senator for this to be Diane Feinstein!

In no way do I condone any kind of regulations of any kind on firearms or ammo that's isn't already on the books.. And don't agree with half the laws on the books in many states CT,CA,NY for example.

Let's stop dancing around the problem. Our culture has a disease called moral decay. Laws like this are like giving aspirin to someone with a brain tumor. Instead of fixing the underlying problem, it just makes you feel better, temporarily...

Government gets to track how much and what calibers you buy. What could go wrong. Don't register the guns register the ammo. I don't think so!

Has the fact that it might kill online ammo sales (where I buy most of my ammo) been discussed? It may be he main purpose of the idea.

Most if not all ideas about gun and ammo control impact solid citizens harder than criminals. Criminals don't care: they will lie, cheat and steal.

Online would be a very easy check. They already require a credit card so all the perminant information is already given to them. Plus you aren't waiting in line for the clerk to process the check while the line builds and the dirty looks for holding up the line are dished out. The only thing I can think of is that most criminals don't need more than enough to fill the chambrs or the magazine. So buying online to get a few cents cheaper per round is pointless.

Default Bumped. I submit this to be the best post of 2015!!!

Bumped. Read all five pages. I submit this as the Best post of 2015! Proof that thinking people can have a discussion without descending into chaos. Unlike some other 1911 Forums (not that I"m naming any one particular group)
