Your excuse is invalid
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, here's to 19 thousand words........
Anyone think they might be having a bad day? This Marine should inspire everyone to be thankful for all their blessings. How can one not admire this man? Corporal Todd Love, a native of Georgia, became the third generation in his family to become a Marine when he joined the service immediately after high school .He was assigned to B Company, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. Five months into his deployment while on patrol in Sangin, Helmand Province, Todd stepped on an improvised explosive device (IED) and was transferred to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The resulting injury cost him both of his legs and part of his left arm. Exactly what does 110% look like? He whitewater kayaks. He skis. He free falls at 30K feet. He wrestles an Alligator. He has fun joking around with ladies. Aim. Shoot. Todd can balance his entire body on a dumbbell, using one hand and a prosthetic. Todd competes in grueling Spartan Races. Where he climbs 20 foot barriers. In the elements. With his team. And like a good Marine, he always finishes the race. Todd still proudly wears his uniform. And has even inspired his own meme. |

Post of the year. There are NO excuses and every reason to love this man. Thank you for this post. It makes me proud to have been a monthly contributor to Veteran's causes since 1962 and the Wounded Warrior Project for what I believe is 10 years now. I hope that they have had some small part in his amazing story. Semper Fi.
