No bolts or charging handles on sale, but Bear Creek has some killer deals right now for their Black Friday sales. Buying separate uppers and lowers you can get a complete gun for $305. Uppers start at $180 and lowers start at $125.
Since I had a spare upper, I bought one of their complete lowers on sale for $125 just in case I needed to assemble all of my uppers on lowers at the same time. The trigger is typical for that price range, but other than that everything works fine. I stoned the trigger and after breaking it in it's not bad. Still milspec'ish trigger but functional. I didn't want to spend any more money on it upgrading the trigger since it's basically a spare lower. I have two Bear Creek uppers and I have no complaints. Both are very accurate. The 350 Legend upper is sub MOA.

I like that Alex; I have always been wanting to build one but never get around to it. I just put together 2 muzzle loaders for the December season. Kaden drew an any deer tag with a muzzy. that should be fun.
I need build one of those pretty black ones though.

More parts. Got the Bolt from PSA. Charging handle, optic riser, mag and fore grip thingy from Optics Planet. I had the C-More sitting around in a box. I think I'm ready to buy some ammo for it and see if it goes bang.

About to finally try out my 458 SOCOM on deer. I need to set up a lock on stand in a spot I've been meaning to hunt for some time that would be perfect for it. Surrounded by three large briar patches I need something that will either put them down on the spot or leave a huge blood trail.

Yep.
And you can use your 5.56 mags with it. A 30 round 5.56 mag is a 10 round 458 SOCOM mag. (that was one of the design criteria for the SOCOM round) Just whacked a doe with mine. Mild load with 300 gr Ballistic Silvertips @1750 fps. At 95 yards it plowed through her shoulder like a runaway freight train. I can safely get those bullets up close to 2000 fps in the 16" barrel but I wanted to try the mild load first because it was equivalent to my 45-70 load. The 45-70 load uses 300 grain hollow points which don't reliably feed well in the AR. The Ballistic Silvertip has a round nose that feeds perfectly in the AR. It turns an AR-15 into a bona fide big game rifle! You need a hefty recoil pad because it hits like a freight train on both ends, LOL. Unless you are shooting subsonic then it's a teddy bear.

Nice score! I scored a complete 556 upper (16”… 1-7 twist) that will be going on a complete lower I have had in the safe for a while. Also scored an EOTech holographic sight to throw on top.
