Lessons learnt the hard way
 

So I have spent the better part of this morning picking corn cob media out of the primer pocket on some freshly cleaned brass.

Why you ask? Well i thought that by cleaning the brass with the old primers out would aid in the cleaning of the pocket, "WRONG" all it has done is make more work for myself.

Lol. It's ok you should have asked that question learn from others mistakes. I make that same mistake too. I bet riverpig will as well. :)

I did the same thing!

That's why I decap first with a universal decapping die, then tumble and THEN size. The only purpose the decapping rod on the sizing die serves is knocking out the corn cob stuck in the flash holes.
