I secretly pay for meals if I'm at a eatery and see a vet wearing his his hat....another nice way of giving back to those that served!
Been doin' same for near twenty years. Now we go out with our kids on Memorial Day, Veterans' Day, 4th of July.....darn near every holiday....and we hit the local Friday's or any other place the kids pick. We play "pick the vet". Each kid tries to pick out a vet and make up their Military history. We stop by their table, Thank them, pay for them, and leave.

An old WWII Marine is at my South Carolina house right now. Met him here in South Florida. He was outta Parris Island when I was a toddler. Took his Garand and WWII 1911 up to my place to shoot. Gotta love an old vet.

Political Correctness is a doctrine, recently fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end!
