Aftermarket back plates..

Any of you

owners heard of aftermarket back plates affecting an extraction? I have one on my 26 and chalked it up to the extractor. Replaced that and only had one fail to extract. I ordered a new spring loaded bearing because that is what some folks over at GT are saying is causing the issue.
