I've noticed some small scratches on the left side of the slide, close to the muzzle, on my stainless CBOB!
(I discovered how the scratches got there, but I will save that for later) Is there a way to remove these (light) scratches without changing the look or finish of my beloved CBOB? I know I could send it out and have it done professionally, but I would rather do it myself. I don't have an air compressor, but I do have a dremel, fine sandpaper, and that sort of stuff..along with some free time. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. P.S. I no longer use my JAK-SLIDE holster when wearing bluejeans. My LEVI jeans have little rivet-type things (one on each side of the front pockets) that will scratch the exposed slide of my gun, as I get-up, sit-down, and whatever, during the coarse of any given day. If you have this type of belt-slide-over the waist-minimalist holster..I bet you're checking out the pockets of your jeans, and the slides of your guns right now. Right? ![]() |
