Thank you again for the warm welcome. I have to head back to Orlando this Sunday and from here on drive back and forth on weekends. I've been in Jax with her for two weeks and it's killing me having to leave her and the Danes alone for the week days.

The neighborhood she is in is very mixed with lots of poverty and a high crime rate I'm sure, but it's walking distance to treatment center, which is vital as she's been getting dizzy spells from the radiation.

She doesn't like guns for her and won't consider carrying one for the time being. She carries the Kimber pepper blaster ii and I think it is not wise as it only provides two shots. She misses and then what?

Can any one recommend a stun gun that won't break the bank yet is reliable? The c2 taser looks awesome but it's $399. Can't do that right now. The cheaper models from Vipertek have such mixed reviews I'm very doubtful they'll work. They are great "noise makers" but do not really work great.

Welcome to the neighborhood , nice to see you here. Our prayers are outbound for you and your wife.

You will find this site MUCH more sensitive and caring than the insanity you, and many others of us, left behind.

Welcome pitor! Continual thoughts and prayers for your bride and I hope her time up in Jax goes wonderfully well! I did the work week commute between MD and St. Louis back in 1995 and home for the weekends back in 1995 so I know how much "fun" that is. Keep the faith!

Happy New Year, too!
