You're supposed to put powder in the cases before the bullets??? Crap, now you tell me....

I shoot 5.1 grains of 231 under a lrn. Anything less leaves a lot of unburned powder

No I know a few guys that call these their Special Quiet Squibs
They usually End up putting a Match Barrel/Bushing back in for the Repair and swear that it shoots better than before (he he)

180gr Berrys CPFP over 5.8-6.2gr of W231.
