Glock 17's scattered about, all with night sights and a 150 lumen flashlight next to each pistol. They are loaded with 33 round mags, I do not plan a mag swap in a home invasion.

If you've decided on the G19 for yourself, you may wish to consider the G17 and/or G26 to stash around the residence for mag commonality, same manual of arms, same trigger feel, disassembly, etc. This would work as long as your wife and daughter also find the Glocks to their liking.
I also keep two shotguns in areas of the house to which one is likely to retreat, tube fully loaded, safety off, chamber empty. |
