EMEI which is Chinese Arsenal made. Might be part of Norinco. It is a 7.62x39 bolt action with a super light trigger.
http://www.emfirearms.com/production.../0811/136.html I have a set of Weaver rings that are too big. It is only slightly under a half inch wide but I thought all Weaver mounts were the same size so if there are different size Weaver bases then that may be what is throwing me off.

Well I believe I have figured it out. I think it is an 11mm groove. CZ is the most common use for the 11mm rings. Most US made rings are 3/4" and 11mm is just under 1/2" so the standard Weaver rings are too wide at the base.
The manufacturers specs say it is effective to 400m for hunting. I am thinking it would deliver more punch than 300 BLK because it is a full size 7.62x39.
