We used to have a customer that would order these types of rifles when I worked at an indoor range here. Some take downs and others like this. All huge calibers. He always asked us to fire a few rounds out of it at 25yds for him just to check it and the sights before he took it. I don't remember if it was a .416 or not? It was a .4 something but I fired two rounds out of it and that was enough.

Got one, CZ 550 in 416 Rigby, standard load 400 gr @2400fps. Never bought factory loads as they are usually ~$100/box 20. Bought mine when still living in Australia in the 1990's. Hunting mate and I bought 2 that showed up at a dealer in Sydney thinking it might just be the ticket if we ever got to Africa for Cape Buff. We hunted Aussie buff (Asian type) before.

Never made it to Africa (too old now). Only fired on range and sometimes as a hoot at deer camp.
