In fact, A task force Christie assembled recommended some tweaks to the "justifiable need" standard in the NJAC (regulations code) that would make it easier for people in situations like Carol Bowne to get a NJ CCW permit. But, already, the Sen. Majority Leader, Loretta Weinberg (one of the strongest anti-gun legislators) has pushed through a bill to nullify what Christie was trying to correct in the regulations. It passed the Senate and is waiting action in the Assembly. Having seen what the FL leg. did to the OC bills this past session (or didn't do) is only evidence that we need to be very watchful of our politicians and not let them get away with things like that.
