Barrel has been installed and torqued to 45#s. It's ready for the gas block, gas tube, and handguards......next.

That's why I order parts. If she sees parts come in she thinks it's just parts. She knows I have rifles but I don't think she really knows how many as most of the new ones have come in parts, parts is parts.

is that an airsoft barrel? never seen an orange flash hider on a real gun.

I think it's just a thread protector. On my first BO I thought about running it with no muzzle device and it was pretty good. However the threaded steel being exposed made me nervous about corrosion and accidental damage so I put a break on it.
