This is very depressing!! STI is one of my favorite makers. Great guns. HOWEVER they have been diminishing there line of standard 1911's for the last 4-6 years so I just figured it was a matter of time.

I hope they will service and do parts still. Some of their stuff is kind of specialized.

Focusing on their (very expensive) double stack 2011s, which is where their bread and butter is. That's really what they are known for.
