Default DW RZ-45 Heritage

Sorry for the delay...

Picked up my Heritage Monday night, cleaned and lubed ( Not very dirty at all ).

(now it is, I'll have to clean her up.)

Took it to the range on Tuesday, put 100 rounds of 200 Gr. round nose Rainier over 4.8 Gr. of 231.
I had zero malfunctions as the pistol was running perfect.
The trigger is great, tight fitting barrel bushing and fit and machining is superb.

Of course I had to let others share in my experience. fellow in the lane next to mine had a night hawk, I let him shoot mine and he let me shoot his... The Night Hawk was OK, for a $2,900 gun. Maybe I expected more???
Well, the guy next to me as well as one of the guys behind the counter loved the Heritage. They were very impressed that it was a production gun and not custom.

I love the pistol and think I made the right choice. Get a gun that's fun to shoot in 45ACP. I did just that.

The sights are a bit off. Shooting high, I'm having to set the bullseye well above the front sight. like in image.1

Getting the hang of it... 10 yards 5 shot groups.

I don't think I can complain much. I might change the sights getting a higher front Fiber optic? We'll see...

I'm going to send the pistol back to Dave Severns for some added features in the near future. I can't wait.....

Thanks for reading.

Greg
