EAST GERMAN MAKAROV
I thought I'd posted this one before but apparently I didn't. I stopped at a Gun Shop that was going out of business last year. They had a Colt 1903 .32 and an East German Makarov next to each other with the price tags switched. I told him about it and he gave me a good discount on the Mak. The East German Makarovs are probably the best ones made; fit and finish are on a par with early Post WWII Walthers. This one is dated 1961. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Back, after a long rest....
I've been waiting for this gun from the maker, Chuck Warner of Elite Warrior Armament in New Mexico for a while. Based on the High Power, this P-35 started life as a block of billet steel. It includes upgrades and modifications to make it stronger in High Power weak areas; the front strap is thicker to allow for checkering; and the slide is heavier (with an 18# recoil spring). Chuck designed this gun to shoot +P and +P+ ammo. I've shot a few different 9mm ammo brands; so far the gun functions quite nicely with Speer Gold Dot LE 147 Gr. JHP ammo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
