What barrel specs are you after? Length, twist, gas system, material?

Carbine length (16") 5.56 milspec 1:7 twist black finish...

If you are doing 16”, I suggest mid length gas system. It’s your build tho.

But I’m talking about the gas system. My suggestion is to get a “mid-length” gas system on your barrel choice instead of “carbine”. It’ll give the powder more time to burn and in turn be more reliable with different loads as well as be “cleaner” (less carbon build up on the bolt face).
