the factory msh on my 5" G.I. was crooked in the frame when looking at it from the bottom. I feared the frame was out of spec, but when I replaced the msh everything looked nice. It was all in the small part.
He has DW grips on it...because factory RIA wood grips stink LOL. They stop a mile away from the edge of the frame front and back. Congrats DB and cant waitto hear how she shoots :-)

I tried another msh and it fills the gap, but the piece at the back of the magwell is still filed thinner on one side, but no big deal. I took it shooting today and it was reliable and acurate-all I could ask really! I am thinking of sending it away to get spruced up.
