Thanks for posting this up. I added that very holster to my bookmarks a couple weeks ago. My plan was to buy it and see if I could talk Lane into replacing or lining that Kydex bit for me as I want to keep it leather on the business side of the houlster.

Lane, you maybe willing to take on such a project? I'd be willing to have this houlster shipped to you. And after you get a look, decide on making the design in leather, or hybridizing it with leather business bits for the VBob Cradle.

As I look at it, it appears that the Kydex piece is riveted in place. I'm not sure I could line it or replace it without drilling out the rivets - which might damage the rest of the piece. I don't like doing that with someone else's $80 investment.

I wonder if a removable "pocket" would be a good idea - give you the ability to pop the belt piece in the laundry.

This is an interesting idea... let me puzzle on it a bit...

Dred - as I've pondered how to do this, I think we could pull this off. If you're still interested, PM me. I'd do my part for the cost of materials and postage.
