In looking at my next project, one possibility that I am considering is a 9mm, or 38 super 1911. I notice when looking at ammunition suppliers, (I do not reload) that they seem to mostly sell 38 super +P. (Buffalo Bore only sold 38 super +P) Most manufacturers that I am aware of recommend against using + cartridges; and, it is my understanding that they are harder on the pistols.
I am interested in others experiences and opinions on using the 38 super plus + ammunition in their 38 supers. ![]() I am leaning toward an AR 10 platform, or a 9mm/38 super 1911 for my next birthday. ![]() Best wishes.
