New-guy here, wow that's a sweet Dan Wesson! (Came in and registered off a link at CalGuns.)
Re: the armorer's course, I just picked up a flyer at Reed's here in the South Peninsula, for "Jardine's 1911 Essentials" - an 8-hour course that they will be holding...but I can't tell WHEN?! Reed's is exasperating sometimes... Those Sarge grips are pretty swell.

Something I'll have to wait-on a bit. I'm taking the Stage-1 Louis Awerbuck class next weekend. Gonna have to miss my regular Zouaves 200-yard Match at Metcalf - and after that I'm kinda tapped-out. The Ed Brown set me back! :-)
