After the Garand I bet. lol.....

Seriously tho.... the MSRP on the Specialist is $1899? Street price... probably $1700 plus or minus a few bucks. Just for kicks... I looked up a Les Baer Premier II in .45 on GunsAmerica (which tends to be higher priced IMHO). The LB is selling new for $1749. At this price point, I would have to begin to compare DW with LB, Wilson Combat, etc. rather than Kimber or Springfield Armory. I just hope that DW doesn't price themselves out of the market place for the people that got them INTO the marketplace (which would be people like us at Cotep).

Just sayin....

Wow! That's a lotta jellies. I wouldn't be able to afford one now a days, I'm on Social Security and I have very limited disposable income. Seems like everything is costing more, but my retirement remains the same!

Been thinking the same thing myself for a while now. Their prices keep climbing.

Very

I checked with my local dealer and they list them at around $1,400 for the SS and $1,600 for the coated.

The problem on my side is that the boss says not new guns for a while.

I got my SS from CZ Custom for 1434.00 shipped. I can't believe that it's cheaper than a SS Valor. btw its replacing my MC Operator only because the Specialist comes with everything I would want & more in a HD pistol. Black would be nice. I just think that the Specialist displays a higher level of class in SS IMO. and if I ever change my mind about it, a hard hat treatment at Severns Custom could take care of that.

Maybe the wife will let you get one if you sell one? Tough, I know! Just an idea.
