Jim, I had Dave HH my Springer and I carry it almost every day in a Custom Holster made by Lane that is Lined, and I must say that his HH Treatment hasn't worn off at all...........

As for being BOBTAILED I like it alot but that is me, some people don't like it...............BUT for CCW IMHO it is a Must.........

If you are having it BOBBED get the whole gun HH or Duty Treated, I like Blued Guns, except the Blued 1911's IMHO show scratches and wear pretty darn quick from holster wear,,,,,,,,,That is how I feel........

That really is beautiful, . I've bobbed my Mimber Pro Raptor, and of course the CCO is bobbed a bit and I really like it too. Agree with you regarding concealing for carry also. I should think it makes for a more comfortable shooting grip but does it affect the balance of the 5"? Is Dave Severns a member of this forum?

IMHO no it doesn't take a way from the balance of a 5" 1911. yes, Dave is a member but since he has his Gun Shop and Gun Smithing job he doesn't come on here, But check out his website.

Send him and e-mail, and see what his back log is Like, and let him know that I told you about him and His Custom Work, Quality..............
