I replace mine every 10000 rounds or so....seems to work out for me....

I just read where some guys are actually washing their corn cob/ walnut media! Sorry, but I think that's a little extreme.

Another tip is to go to a pet store to get your media. Supposedly it's cheaper there than at a gun store.

Washing it...what the heck...that is nutz...Its really not that $$$ I don't think...pet stores are a savings though if you can find some nicer stuff.

I use Bounce sheet no matter how many casings I tumble. Change corn cob or crushed walnut shells every 2500 to 3000 cases Tumbled............

I use walnut media and change it when it does not look like it is cleaning the brass as good as it should. Walnut cleans well but the corn cob media polishes better.
