Default White grips

So I like dark pistols and white grips.

I've tried some relatively inexpensive faux-ivory grips and although I sort of like the look, I distinctly do not like the feel.

I've seen Ironwood grips, and while not real white, they look good.

I've seen real ivory, but don't know if I would like the feel and they are very expensive.

Lonestar and I are talking about his camel bones and I may try a set just because.

What I would really like is some VZ grips in white, but they don't make them.

I need to find something in the next couple of months to go on my new build. I'm almost 100% sure it's going to be Royal Blue all over with just a touch of engraving.

Recommendations on where to look for some nice, white grips?

Have you tried holly? The wood is almost pure white. It should be cheaper and easier to work than bone, horn, antler, or ivory.

Ryan Payne {Sarge's Grips} makes excellent grips. This first set is called stag, I bought these last April.

This set is camel bone, they are about 3 years old. They are taking on a yellowish tinge as they age.

Beautiful grips, Mike.

I've asked Ryan about what he has, and PM'd Brown's Grips.

I really like the idea of my grips yellowing with age and find your camel bone grips really nice against the frame of your Valor.

Something similar to that might be the ultimate for me.

Oh my, Doc! Those look great. I'm having trouble imagining the wood backing against the frame. Who makes these?

These grips were made for me by Sarge and they are made of Corian, you know the countertop material. They are not slippery for being smooth and actually provide a pretty good grip surface.
