Yup, even Starbucks "Logos" with guns in them all over the internet. It is better to lay low and take your liberties rather than flaunt them. Flaunting pisses people off, they get to the CEO eventually, and this letter was written. I have heard this is a real good PR ad for Starbucks, and nothing more. They aren't going to try to enforce it, it is a request. Now if the "in your face" gun people lay low it will go back to how it was.

Well, when Peet's Coffee banned open carry in their coffee shops, when it was still legal here, I stopped buying coffee from them.

Now it looks like I'll have to stop going to Starbucks as well. It's not like I go there a lot, I grind and brew my own 99% of the time....

Wasn't that one of the characters in Moby Dick or Battlestar Galactica or another classic?

No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms.
Thomas Jefferson
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Thomas Jefferson

Looks like a polite request to me. I have no problem with it.
