Hi Nick, Welcome to the forum.
I am from Illinois, and was raised near Chicago. Left there in 1980. Good move for me, as I live in North Carolina now. Establishing a conservative government in Illinois that is not corrupt is not an impossible task. After many decades in Democratic control, NC elected a Republican super majority in both Legislative houses and a Republican governor in 2012. This year we saw meaningful 2nd amendment legislation pass. Illinois was forced into offering concealed carry. I hope that the program helps slow down crime there. You have a very nice Dan Wesson.
