I actually have several metalform mags. They work, I have never had any issues.

I've always had good luck with Wilson Combat mags, Chip McCormick PowerMags are fine also.

Tripp Research gets my vote.

The 8R-45-RG is the best mag on the market, IMHO.

Of course the supplied Checkmate Mags have done well thru 50 rounds anyways.

I see Midway has the Chip McCormick 10rd Powermag. Anyone have any experience with their 10rd?

I have 2 Checkmates, 2 LB mags and 6 Wilson 47Ds. They all work great. Watch the Wilson website for sales.

I run them all in my Vbob and LB PII. No problems ever.

Thank you. Ill be sure to do just that. I reckon a man can never have enough mags. I shot my first ever match about a month or two ago and quickly found out I needed more mags. Ive ever only had just the two that come with pistols.
