Got my target today as well. I guess I'm no longer considered a new member.

I wonder if would be feasible to set up different brackets, 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 +? It's been a while{2 years} since I've shot at the 418 yard bench at the range that I belong to. I've had cataract surgery in the meantime, I can see again! A lot of practice will be in order, I haven't touched my one remaining AR in five months. I'm hoping to to promote a damn good excuse to get off my ass and get back to the range, and everybody have a good time too.

Well, since we're posting pictures of our tack drivers. This is what I'll be using for the long range shoot.

I've never been to either one but but I can go to one range that has a 200yrd line and another range that has a 500yrd line.

i'll need to work up some new loads for my 25-06 if we go out to 5oo yrds but my triple deuce should be ready for the 200 yrd line.

I miss my left handed Savage Tactical .308...it was great out to 800 yards. I couldn't get a clear 400 yard shot here unless I went to the beach and shot at yankees

Oh, all right. If you insist. It's my Remington 700 PSS .308 I picked it up from a friend many years ago for a song and a dance. It was stock out of the factory with synthetic stock and Leupold duplex scope. I went to sniper school with it, but after becoming a police sniper and doing a couple of sniper comps I decided to jazz it up.
It's re-bedded on a McMillan A-5 stock, Timney trigger set at 3.5 lbs, and replaced the scope with a Leupold Mk4, variable 3.5 - 10 X 40, TMR, front focal.
