I haven't put enough rounds through it to state categorically that it is as reliable. But, what turned me on to the pistol was one that I rented at a gun range that had been around a looong time and just kept going. Also everything I've read places it at the top of the reliability chart. Fit and finish are excellent. Tight, no rattle when shaken. No gaps or machining marks on the outside of the pistol or inside the slide. Takedown is a breeze. The trigger is heavy in D/A, but there are fixes available. S/A trigger is very nice. Hope this helps.
