The only rifle round I use. I believe in the 7.62. Time to make a video.

Gatorade: The German G3 is modified version of the Spanish CETME. The most visually obvious differences are the rear sight and the selector. The CETME has a more basic rear sight, which is not adjustable for windage. The windage adjustment on the CETME is in the front sight. The selector on the CETME operates opposite to that of the G3, the trigger packs are interchangeable, but you need G3 parts for a G3 trigger pack and CETME parts for a CETME trigger pack. You will also need to keep in mind that the maekings will no longer make sense with the operation of the selector. The markings on the steel lower on my rifle are S (from the German for safe), E (from the German for semi auto), and F (from the German for full auto). The CETME operates in the reverse order. The G3 mags can be made to work with a CETME. There are several internal parts that are not interchangeable between the two and the had guard is not directly interchangeable. The HK-91 is a semi auto version of the G3 and the PTR-91 is a clone of the HK-91 built on HK tooling using a combination of US made and surplus parts. While most parts are interchangeable between the G3 and the HK-91, there are a few differences. The bolt carrier of the HK-91 has been modified so that the rifle will not fire should an unmodified G3 trigger pack be installed. On the G3, the lower (AKA the trigger housing) is held in place by a pin that goes through both the receiver and the lower. The paddle mag release of the G3 pivots on this pin. To satisfy the ATF, the HK-91 was modified to eliminate this pin and as a result the paddle mag release was also eliminated. A shelf was added for the front of the lower to hang off of instead of pivoting on a pin. This was carried over to the PTR-91. A surplus G3 lower can be altered so that it can be attached to an HK-91 or PTR-91 receiver. But because of the shelf, an unmodified G3 trigger pack cannot be installed. It looks like I got a bit long wended with this post and I guess I should stop typing now.
