Default Thanks for the warm welcome!

Thanks to everyone for the welcoming comments!

AdamG247 - I flew F-4 Phantoms. My first tour was at Ubon, Thailand in the 8th TFW. I was in the 497th Squadron, the "Night Owls", and thus my handle. My second tour was at Cam Ranh Bay in the 12th TFW.

The first tour was half at night and the other half flying day missions in the high-threat areas of Hanoi and Haiphong. The second tour was flying close air support in the South. Two completely different wars. Hard to say which one I liked the best.

Without a doubt though, the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on was flying fighters!

I'm really looking forward to being in this forum!

Regards To All,

Owl

Good to see another Floridian here. I'm in Gainesville about a three hour drive from you.
