Spoke with CS at CZ today. Pistol will debut at Shot Show. Expected to be available end of 1st quarter. Would neither confirm nor deny whether or not it will be built at the DW factory. Will most likely have some MIM parts. Rep said he has shot the gun and it is a true representation of the original 1911, he also said he will be getting one (there's a surprise). BTW, I told him that the complaints already being lodged are about the large roll marks. Said he will pass that along...

It's not from that picture of the fixed sights shown. The rest may be, but those sights are a LOT higher and more pronounced than the milspecs of yore.
