Oxford, MS huh? I've coon hunted down around Winona before. That's some ROUGH country compared to where I live. We had to cross some spots that had been clear cut and were grown over with those green briars. What a nightmare!

Unfortunately most large land plots in MS have been clear cut at some point. I know all to well the briars you speak of. If you only knew the nightmares of the Locust Trees!

Good call on the old homestead. I'll make it a point to dig around a little more next time.
