I agree. thanks for the post. I also blame the media and print press that has failed to point out that the "Hands up, don't shoot" was a made up criticism of the police fueled by dishonest accounts of what happened in Ferguson and further, the people that testified that account to the grand jury should be found guilty of Perjury. The "I can't breath" is a misrepresentation of the cause of death. They also have failed to criticize the president, the attorney general and mayor of New York city as well as Sharpton for race baiting and increasing racial tension and the trashing of our law enforcement people. Also no one seems to be talking about the breaking of the law and failure to follow the direction of a police officer in both cases. That the police in NYC are spending time having to deal with people selling loose cigarettes is a crime in itself. My understanding is that folks are buying the cigarettes on an Indian reservation where no taxes are paid and then selling them singularly on the street. NYC taxes on cigarettes are over $6.00. If that isn't a liberal progressive idea I have no idea what is. Mr. Brown had been dealt with 31 times by the police for this "offense" against humanity. Give me a break. I blame this one on the politicians including the mayor. I can not imagine the people or the police give a flying F about taxing single cigarettes. Do the store owners that are complaining really think they are losing meaningful business? The NYC police have reduced murders from over 3,000 to about 300. Lets encourage them to get back to work and thank them for the thankless job they do so well while recognizing that everyday they walk out there with their lives on the line serving us. They have rightly turned their backs on the Mayor who turned his back on them pandering to his leftist constituency. He should resign, now. Sorry about the rant.
