It only allows you to apply on line, your records won't just pop up. I wasn't aware that this has been around for a while. I just got it and figured I'd pass it along.

And you did a good job, too. Somehow I was expecting a new on-line only service.
This system does work and is quick, just not as fast as download. To be honest, I like the system of checks they have in place. It does a better job of keeping our records secure. Thanks again! |

Information like this is always good, no matter how long the system has been in place.
My experience with this a few years ago was that they only send you your final DD-214. I guess it was in about 1985 that the Services stopped producing a DD-214 every time you re-enlist. If you should have access to multiple DD-214s (I received one in 1984, and another in 2001), through this system you will probably only receive that final one. . |

Thanks for the info, but I got plenty of copies of mine and the original is in a safe deposit box at the bank!
