Exactly, they will think the story and injuries were concocted to get the cop off. If you explain the injuries sustained by the cop and the preliminary finding then you don't allow the "hands up, don't shoot" to take root. Now it has grown beyond the incident and is being used as an excuse regardless of the facts of the case.

Look at it this way, the available facts are now out there via the autopsies, the statement about injuries to the officer, yet the protests and looting continue. The facts didn't stop or slow it down. Just my take on it. |
