BREAKING REPORT: Officer Darren Wilson Suffered “Orbital Blowout Fracture to Eye Socket” During Mike Brown Attack

The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.


Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

A blowout fracture is a fracture of one or more of the bones surrounding the eye and is commonly referred to as an orbital floor fracture. (AAPOS)

This comes after St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter tweeted out last night that a dozen local witnesses confirmed Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson’s version of the Brown shooting story.

It did not fit Holder's agenda. THAT is why it wasn't released earlier. Just like the whole Zimmerman/Martin thing, the admins assertions will prove false

Well I hate to say it but if they would have just let the police/dea/dci whom ever complete the investigation and let the facts come out things might have been different from the get go. I don't think that the PD knew what to do with this event. they shoudl have been more forthcomming with info. Now its way out of controll....this is really sad all around.

The term I hear most is "follies"........Local PD was in over their head, was obvious when their Top Cop was damn near stuttering through a Q&A with reporters.

Zackly...they are not prepared for such an event. When this went down no matter what it was a higher agency should of stepped in, that was the point i was trying to make in my ramblings.

they just had no experiance in such an event.....it was as bad as my spelling skills

I hate to differ, but I think it is good to withhold this type of information until the usual suspects have gone on the record with outlandish BS. Then release the facts, and make them look foolish. Like the so-called witness, who has now been caught in several lies.

On the contrary, releasing this info earlier could've saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax payers money for the extra police, Nat. Guard, etc. Not to mention all the money that the businesses and other property that were lost due to the vandalism and looting.

Withholding info and releasing it later makes it look like they were trying to hide something and came up with an escape route.

Never the less, what happened was unfortunate and shouldn't have happened.

Just my opinion.

I understand, per a Q&A on TV, that releasing the info after proper documentation is standard procedure, but,this situation, I feel, needed swift transparency. I agree with Ell, alot of hurt, destruction and theft could have been avoided.
