To tell the truth, I had a Mini 14...wood and stainless...back in the 90's. 5.56/.223. I routinely shot groundhogs outside our race shop at 300 yards with open sights. Sold it for a set of heads for the Street Stock we were running at the time. Foolish. I'd get another, but today's issue don't seem the same quality
