wtf.....16K for a pair of guns that will never be shot?! I don't get that at all. I wonder what the "real" value of them are? Crazy to drop that cash on that. .... out of my league so I am just jealous I guess

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

"Ivory like" grips. . . not even real Ivory?? Manufactured in 1989, so not "historic" in any sense. It is 1 of 500 manufactured by Colt as a novelty item 25 years ago??

I can understand paying a premium for a historically significant firearm, or if attached to some event or person (Patton's Ivory handled S&W).

I don't see the value in this. Maybe its just me.
