Default Pig sent me some ammo to try......

So, I took the Rem700 out to our local Sheriff's range Sat morning. He had sent me some 1980's Lake City stuff he had left over and a handful of 168 grain Black Hills Match .308. I set up at the 50yd to get my zero or hold for these two cartridges. Then, I fouled the barrel with some 147gr ball. Then shot a couple of each to get close. Once I knew where they hit, I moved to the 100yd lanes. First was the Black hills. I only had a handful so, I tried my best to get sub moa (knowing this stuff is accurate and that the rifle likes 168gr). As you will see in the pics, it shot pretty well. I moved on to the Lake City stuff (not sure if it is surplus or match or what grain bullet). This one did ok but, not as well as the BHM. *I have to put a disclaimer that I was not on my game this day. (excuse alert!) I have a pinched nerve in my back that makes my whole left arm go numb if my arm extends past my chest. I could only do two shots before this happened and my upper body started to shake a bit.* You will see "Flyers" on the targets as a result. According to , it is still minute of man so, I did well...lol. Anyhow, here are two targets I snapped pics of. The other two had similar results so, no pics. I will give the Lake City another go another time as I did not shoot all of it.

I want to thank Mike for sending me this ammo to try, it was a nice gesture. Plus, the brass will be excellent for reloading (if I ever get to that).

PS: In case anyone wants to know. The temp was 83deg... 68% hum....10mph NE wind......warm barrel for all shots
