Default Range Report 1911-22 and SS VBOB

Did some shooting today. Practiced two shot engagements with different weapons. First out of the bag was my GSG1911-22. I took this on the aftermath of all the reporting of failures and I was hoping for a good report.. which I can give. Fired 80 rds with no problems. I had changed out the sight to bring the group down and it did but now I need to move it left a bit.

Next was the previously infamous SS VBOB. It's now had 15 magazines through it with no malfunctions. I'm starting to feel pretty good about it.

Looking good, I am thinking about getting a GSG 1911 22, let me know how you get along with the 22.

i've not had any problems with mine that weren't caused by me. No signs of failure or stress.

Hi Mike
Glade to hear that your GSG-1911-22 is working ok. I make sure that all guns that leave my safe are working 100% or they do not go.
I still believe that the shooter of the other GSG might had played with it and didi not know what they were doing.
But with yours, You should No problems. Just shoot it and enjoy it.
Gary

Pictures went bye bye.......boo photobucket!

Glad to hear that your range session went well. I need to make time for the range myself in the near future.
