Default Gild Coast Gunslingers -ADULTS ONLY

Well Howdy y'all
The day started early at 5a.m. with the Florida Temps already in the 70's.
Before leaving for the prairie A quick stop at the DD for some coffee & chow, a little drink for my wagon and we were off.
I arrived at the range and started to unload the wagon. When we are all set, we joined our posses and set off to stage 2.
It was starting off to be a great day as the temps started to go up and my new Straw hat was doing its thing. Keeping the sun off my neck, ears, and out of my eyes.
The REDSTONE RIDER (that is me) was hitting the stages with clean scores. Not the fastest times but no misses either.
I guess you are wondering why ADULTS ONLY....the photos all tell the truth

When you take a group of grown me, add some high temps and a lot of gun powder early in the morning, almost anything can happen.

It started off with one of our top shooters BUFFALOBRADY showing up in a :

and as we moved to stage 5 it all started to , Well see for your self.........

After we left stage 5 and moved onto stage 1 (we shotgun so that all shooters get to start at the same time)

BUFFALOBRADY SET UP AND THE NEXT TWO SHORT VIDEO'S SHOW HIS HARD WORK.

he was shooting two 36 cal (cap & Ball modified guns with 38 Conversion cylinders. As you will see, they did not work all of the time.

The red smoke, well that is a secret.

and you say what happened to your poster, well all was going great, I started stage 1 (as you will see) went through the hand gun stage....no problem...when i hit the rifle, I was almost finished when I had a light hit and instead of pulling back the hammer and trying that shot again, I worked the lever and wound up with one round short (giving me 2 misses) and a delay getting to the shotgun (could not believe it) and finished off my day.

Click on the above videos to watch them..........

The only thing I can say is that next week is another shoot, and oh, well, ......

Hope you enjoyed , stay safe, shoot a lot, and most of all keep cool......

Gary
