Default Added some things to my AR today.

Today I put an Omega Tactical quad rail on today, along with a Magpul angled foregrip, that Hoss sent me, also a light but the light wasn't in the pic. Here is a pic

I love that little forehand angel grip as well, I think it feels nice while shooting!

I too am looking for a long gun. Thinking about a Rock River (DEA) with Bi-pod & scope. I want to be able to reach out and touch someone, if I have to.

Any pro's or con's ??

For local defensive purposes the most I would imagine shooting distances of 200-300 yards. I have a old scoped 91/30 for that or a AK that will hit a man size target at that distance. Remember the purpose is to wound so others will have to tend to them

Otherwise I'll just wait for a AR to show up. There are plenty around to have after SHTF and people starting looting or looking for food

Looking good , DD Omega rails are super.

Don't know what kind of optic you are looking for but good luck.

There are so many out there Long distance, close range, I've been looking at the Aimpoint PRO and the new Leupold HAMR.
